I’ve seen sometimes (maybe once a month) hotspot stops working in this way: it stops adding new hosts.
When this happens I can see people getting DHCP, but they don’t appear new hosts in the hotspot section.
At that time i can even remove any host and it won’t reappear automatically as it should (even if I try ping it).
Only solution is rebooting.

We are using many dozens of MikroTik RB based hotspots (100+) and few (but only FEW) of them has the same problem. There is another topic here in the forum, which has described similar sympthoms:

We have exactly the same type of issue with RB750’s, RB493’s, RB2011’s, RB433’s, etc… We’ve tried ROS v4.x, v5.x versions (and yes I’ve tried it with v5.20 already). The problem occurs sometimes daily, sometimes weekly or sometimes monthly. The hotspot stops asking users to log in, it lets anyone through, the dynamic queue rules isn’t creating. The only solution is the reboot. We are using radius (freeradius) authentication with all of our hotspots and when I restart the radius service on our server, the problem occurs more frequently.
