Hi,
I was looking for an sms software that I can use for my routerboard. I found a software at http://www.diafaan.com/reviews/wavecom-gsm-modem-over-tcpip/
However the problem is, it does not have any authentication in the telnet feature. Since routerboard looks for a username and password upon login, I cant seem to access the routerboard if I dont get inside routerboard. So i was wondering if there is a option in the routerboard to disable the login sequence for telnet access. If not, can you suggest me alternative SMS software that I can use? Thanks.
Cheers,

Hi botter911,
I’ve not got anything myself that connects via telnet with no admin/password to test however if you’re looking for something to do SMS then I’d recommend using a mikrotik device itself.
The RB411UAHR can take a sim card and 3G card to allow both internet and sending and receiving SMS’s from the device using the SMS toolset.
You can read more about using it here: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Tools/Sms
There are also some very cool features like running a script on RouterOS triggered by an SMS that might come in handy for you too
Hope this is useful to you!
