I’ve a celeron 400 wih two prism2 card. The cards are bridged, and on the bridge interface I’ve an hotspot service.
Each card have 20-25 clients associated.
If the troughput on one card is > 1Mbps, i’ve packet loss on both wireless card, and all my clients will slow down.
I’ve checked the configuration and all seem to be ok.
Is it possible that there are too much wireless clients (25) for each card ? But, why I’ve packet loss on both card also if the traffic is only on one ?
MK OS is 2.8 latest release.
Celeron 400 with 256mb ram.
With 3,4Mbps aggregate traffic on both wireless interface (about 40-50 user via hotspot or pppoe) cpu usage was max 40%. Free memory about 90-95%
today I’ve try to drop all the wireless client (via wireless association list), and I’ve permit only two client. After that I’ve started a download from one client, when the download was at full speed (3Mbps), I’ve try to ping the second client from mikrotik…20% packet loss or more.
In a second moment I’ve do the test on a different hardware (RB230 with prism2) and all work perfectly !!
