How to add RAM to CHR on VMware.

I have a CHR running RouterOS 6, with a sad 96.0 MiB of RAM, I inherited the configuration, it wasn’t me who set it up that way.

I have configured monitoring and RAM is consistently >98%. I came to the conclusion that it would be logical to add RAM. I have plenty of available RAM on the host and wanted to increase the amount to 1GB. I added RAM in the VMware panel, but RouterOS still shows the old value (96MB) after a VM restart.

What can I do to make RouterOS see and use the extra RAM?

maybe power cycle is needed after RAM increase?

What helped was resetting vApps, not only the one VM.
