How to factory reset a partitioned CCR1009?

Hello,

I bought from ebay a CCR1009-7g-1c-1s+ (RouterOS 6.4X) I would like to restore to factory condition.

I can access its CLI/GUI (with Winbox) but after resetting it with /system/reset ... or pressing reset button while powering up :

  1. this unit still has a partition
  2. this unit doesn't usual naming (eth1, ...) for Ethernet interfaces
  3. this unit obviously uses non-Mikrotik IP addresses.

As I've never partioned Mikrotik devices yet (I'm planning to as it seems to ease migrations), I'm inclined to ask here how I should proceed for a full factory reset.

How should I reset this unit ?

Best regards

You will need to do a Netinstall. here is the link for the process from Mikrotik.

Netinstall - RouterOS - MikroTik Documentation

Thanks JazzMaster for replying.

So for me, two new things to learn: netinstall and removing custom partition with netinstall !

Life is hard, anyway

Just follow the instructions and you should bew ok

So what?
What do you expect, that I don't have any?

the "usual name" is ether1, not eth1
or sfp-sfpplusX, not sfpX

obviously? what is the IP?
Some Core devices do not have default configuration.

It's probably stolen if it has other companies' "brands" installed instead of the default ones...
