Just configure your virtual machine to boot from the ISO image that you can get from the download page.
The rest should be self-explanatory.
Be sure to configure an IDE disk (not SCSI) disk in your VM, as RouterOS doesn’t support SCSI. The rules
out VMware ESX server IIRC, as this doesn’t support IDE disks.
can’t use anything newer than 3.4 though on Virtual PC.
