I need to know how to add a script to the routerboard. The script is written, but I don’t know what do do with it. What file format should it be in and what is the process used to upload a script?

There are two ways to upload the script. The first way is to rename your text file as a .rsc file and load it into the files list on the router. You can do this by droping and dragging it. Then open a new terminal window and type import and the file name. If there are spaces in the file name you will need to put quotation marks on both sides. If there are no errors in the script you are all done.
The second way to handle this is to browse to System-> Scripts in Winbox. Click on the plus sign. Give the script and name and then copy the script into the “Source:” window. Click OK. Then highlight the script in the script list and click the radio button that says Run Script.
