How to set up queue?

I have never worked with queues before, but now I want to prioritize certain outgoing traffic over other outgoing traffic.

As a first step I have simply set up a queue:

To my understanding this should at least limit the outgoing rate to 500 kbps.

However, the outgoing rate is unchanged:

Also, the queue statistics show 0 for everything:

I have disabled the fasttrack rule:

Under Connection I have no fasttracked connections anymore.

What am I doing wrong?

I figured it out. You have to set a packet mark. If you want to match all (unmarked) packets, choose

no-mark

. There seems to be no way to simply match all packets.
