Hi ladies and gents
is there a script or a command line i can use in new terminal in winbox to find out the current config name that i just restored a few hrs ago
as i have been testing a few things and had to restore a config but i have a few in the file section and i dont remember which one i used last??
if not all good i will just backup this version
cheers
Config files don’t have names, and are not stored in files. It’s all just running config. When you import something from an RSC file, it just reads the file and executes commands that are within. There is no way to tell which config file you imported.
But if you imported the file in the command line only recently, use the keyboard up arrow, to see last used commands. Maybe the import command will be there and you will see used file name.
Or export the current config and compare it using diff on an external computer with all the other ones.
thanks you normis and sindy
