I have setup Dude 3.6 and i have inserted in my map some HP Procurve switches i have. I managed to take SNMP data from the switches and in snmp tab i can see interfaces , ip , routes etc. Is there a way to take in interfaces the full name of the ports ? In the switch i have rename the ports but in dude i take only A1,A2 …

I was wanting to do the same at one stage but could not see any way to customise the interfaces listing that The Dude provides. Looks like nobody else has figured it out either. Probably cannot be done within The Dude. ???

To merlinios. I configuring dude to work with procurve switches too, and faced some problems. Ccan you give your e-mail, I want to ask some questions about configuration.
If the switch is manageable you should be able to access a single interface and put a description on that. In cisco you are able to edit a switch configuration and add a description, that shows up when you hover on a link.
