I have massive problems with Huawei E3372-153 LTE-USB-Sticks in non-Hi-Link Mode (they are ppp interfaces).
When the router is rebootet the ppp interface does not come up anymore.
What does not solve the problem:
another reboot
USB power reset of modem (will it be 1 second, 5 seconds, 60 seconds or 600 seconds)
disabling and reenabling the ppp interface
unplugging the lte stick and replugging
What does “solve” the problem:
removing the power completely from the routerboard and reapplying power
This problem occurs with hAP ac lite and NetMetal 5.
It occured with v6.39 and v6.39.1. UPDATE: The problem does not exist in v6.38.5
If I send
/interface ppp-client info LTE user-command=AT^RESET
the same issue occurs without rebooting the router.
Dear support i try configure on RB951g-2nd + e3372 (hilink and no hilink) - test both
I onfigured properly ppp connection, i have internet , but when i start downloading something big around 1gb mikrotik brake’s connection
when i reboot it everything working good again till i start downloading again…testeed with hilink and with no hilink version , on hilink version when i try dowloading something and mikrotik brake connection i canot ping hilink gateway (software on mikrotik are : 6.39.1. modems are testet on laptop and working good , also tested with other mikrotik (rb951 normal version not 1Gbit ) and also working fine
Also tested with default configuration (restore to default setting’s - still this same issue - braking connection after downloading something .
