I have a mesh network that was working fine yesterday. I have been able to winbox into the routers that are inside the mesh and behind the hotspot router after putting the mesh routers into IP Bindings in the hotspot. Today i am not able to winbox or ping the routers behind the hotspot inside the mesh. Checked IP Bindings and everything is still set like it was. I rebooted the routers and still no luck. When i disable the hotspot on router_A then Router_B responds to pings, re-enable the hotspot and it timesout. Any advice, I know the key is ip bindings but i am not sure why it was working yesterday and not today. Please let me know what specific information will help with troubleshooting this issues since i don’t want to just blinding through up all the configs. Thank you for you help.
Does anyone suggest turning off auto-mac and using admin-mac for mesh interface??? Please let me know what you think. This is in production and currently working for the time being, but i need to eliminate the problem completely.
Admin-mac assignment seems to have fixed my problem. Not sure if it is meant to work that way, but I noticed the mac of the mesh interface had changed from wlan1 mac to wlan3 mac and the hotspot did not like that. this was v4.10 btw.
