i am newbie in mikrotik and i have some loop problems

hi all
i am new to this forum and i like mikrotik device i am daily learning new things
but right now i cant find a simple solution for this problem i am getting loops, yesterday my switch was hang but i have reset and now i have config all this but still i am facing some issue of loops and i can see in my logs

i have attached 1 image please mod help me regarding this


guys can you give me some tutorial or can anybody show me how to prevent from loops and any other problem which comes in ISP business
my brother have isp business but engineer only support Cisco devices and i need to work on mikrotik and i hope mikrotik switched can work better than Cisco

so i need to know how to configure mikrotik switch for flood control and looping and any firewall which can save my switch and highlight that port

Are there other switches in the network? Did you connected some of them together using two or more ports of the MikroTik?
Probably the router freezed because of a broadcast storm.
Learn about “Spanning Tree Procol” and then enable it on the bridge configuration, STP tab.

It seems interesting that the alert started around the time 44:91:DB:11:BB:73 connected to AP 27 2, and then stopped when that device disconnected.

The problem is likely a fault with that AP or else that client might be doing bridging and have some hard-wired connection into your LAN as well…

yes sir problem was with 27 2 ap and i have disconnected that and it was OK

but 27 2 was mikrotik qrt2 and i am using only mikrotik in my network now for better performance
i am shocked that same thing means with same setting and in same switch i have attach 27 1 ap also
and it was working properly and only 27 2 was giving this problem

i need some guide about spanning tree protocol and any other protocol which can save me in this situation

sir yesterday their was some shocking problem
i have attach 5 to 6 aps and yesterday 2 aps was freeze and auto their where making rules in firewall and route address even after reset
then i disconnect that and keep it like this

i am new thats why having so much prb let me know sir what thing i have to study before doing all this

Well, I have seen hardware failures with similar results to your situation. Sometimes after a lightning storm (VERY common in the summer in my area) a radio at a customer’s site would start reflecting all traffic back towards the AP, but only when its ethernet connection was active. Strange, huh? So chances are that the AP 27 2 has a hardware failure and needs to be returned.

As for the automatic rules - make sure that UPNP is disabled. That’s one way this could be happening.
There are other ways for dynamic firewall rules to appear, but usually they involve hotspot, which should only be running on the router and not on the individual APs.

i need to know that should i disabled UPNP in ap or in mikrotik swtich too

and i am handling all APs by CAPsMAN so let me know if i need to add any firewall rule that i will add in my swtich which will save swtich in case of freezing
