Installing Mikrotik from linux hard disk

Hi,

I bought a VPS KVM server with one of the suppliers.
The problem is that, he do not want for free to mount an iso mikrotik and I havent access to the cd ora usb.
I have to choose several linux distribution and recuecd.
Is it possibility to copy the ISO image to hard drive and run the default setup from hard disk form ubuntu for example ?
I’m working on this for a few days but I can’t boot it from hdd via grub.

it is not clear what message you get exactly, or who does not want to take the ISO image?

Also, you can prepare image file beforehand and then just boot it using KVM.

I do not have access to a CD or USB on VPS and I want to install Mikrotik on it.
I can install a different Linux distributions on VPS.
I wonder if it is possible booted mikrotik.iso from grub or lilo and install it instead of Linux.
It seems to me that I should create a new partition about 50 MB unpacked iso and boot it with grub or lilo
I’m working on it a few days but without results so I decided to write post on forum.

you can create bootable image of installation of RouterOS. Then upload it to your KVM host and then you can boot it up. IF you do not have any Linux box around, you can download live botoable CD and use that to create image. After that just set it as hard drive for KVM guest and you are done, note that you will need license level1 or other.
