Take a look at this router: MikroTik · RB5009UG+S+IN
I saw this model before I bought Hex, it seems that this is pretty old model:
RB5009UG+S+IN (announced July 2021)
RB5009UPr+S+IN (announced July 2022)
RB5009UPr+S+OUT (announced March 2023)
That’s why I asked if we are expecting any new model with fresh hardware platform

Other than that, RB5009 is currently top of SoHo line regarding routing performance. Better than that are only certain models from "pro" line (CCR2xxx and, in some particular use cases, certain CRS models ... but be careful with CRS devices, they are good for HW offloaded routing/firewalling, not for anything else .. and not every device in equal measure).
Although RB5009 is “older” device it’s more than capable of handling loads you are planning to throw at it.
You could wait for something newer but with Mikrotik who knows when that will be… As @mkx said, you have more powerful devices in CCR series but that would be total overkill in your situation IMHO.
Also RB5009 is a mature device with most if not all of it’s bugs resolved (There was a problem with 2.5G port if i’m not mistaken.) and with new device you risk bugs… (Look at new hex series, lox at hap ax s etc…)
I fully agree that old well know is way much better than new (even cheaper in price) model which will cost you a lot of hours spend later on troubleshooting

Small update from my end.
Once I implemeneted FastTRack rule I can download now at full 1Gb/s speed.
Zabbix shows correct data as well now.
Just so you know, I used this trick to generate ten simultaneous Wget sessions and fill up my ISP's connection.
