Intermittent Internet Disconnects on RouterOS

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my MikroTik router where the internet connection randomly disconnects for a few seconds or minutes and then comes back automatically.

My ISP connection appears to be stable when connected directly to a computer. I have already rebooted the router and checked the cables, but the problem still occurs.

RouterOS: 7.x
Connection type: DHCP
Problem: Random internet disconnects
Frequency: Several times per day

What would be the best way to troubleshoot this? Are there any RouterOS logs or commands I should check to determine whether the problem is with DHCP, DNS, the WAN interface, or something else?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are logs ... if you use WebFig (web based GUI) to manage device, they are under "Logs".

Other than that, please provide precise information about your device, not a vague one ... e.g. ROS 7.x is way too vague, ROS 7.x has undergone lots of development and bug fixing (quite a few years singe 7.0 was released).
