iOS app reporting Internet available (limited access)

Ever since I upgraded form the Beta app for iOS to the official one (1.0.1), I’m getting internet detection error.

It reports that the Internet is available on the correct interface, but with limited access. I haven’t noticed any issue with the config and everything works as expected.

What exactly is used to determine that Internet is available (limited access)?

same with android, i have no problem as well so can be ignored. probably just a bug

I don’t see that error on my ios APP, including on wifi in the house, or remotely over an IKEv2 VPN tunnel.

It means your ISP is blocking some ports perhaps.

“interfaces that can reach cloud.mikrotik.com using UDP protocol port 30000 can obtain this state. Reachability is checked every minute.”

Also getting “limited” on Android.

UDP ports are definitely all open but what does “can reach cloud.mikrotik.com using UDP protocol port 30000” mean exactly?

Does Mikrotik cloud send back some kind of response?

Do I need to check my firewall rules (default config accepts related / established and drops everything else I believe)?

Should I add a specific “accept incoming UDP” - by source IP? Source UDP port number? Some other way?

I used Torch on my Internet connection (pptp) and there is a reply coming from cloud.mikrotik.com port 30000 to the interface’s port 5678 (discovery) and then port 1024.

Also added this rule:

 0 chain=input action=accept protocol=udp src-port=30000 log=yes log-prefix="cloud"

Still, the connection is marked as “wan” (in webfig) and “limited” (in Android app).

What can I do?

Started working for me today - both in WebFIG and Android app.

Looks like maybe Mikrotik fixed something server side

Greetings,… anyone do something or just was ok alone? Im having the same issue until this morning. From the Android app and a rb750gr3 … but all works ok, yesterday “WAN” int. was in green and available
