I have had an issue with IPsec tunnels flapping around a set time every night. The setup that is having this issue is two RB750Gr3 Routers trying to connect to a RB2011UAS. One RB750Gr3 is a test router that is receiving information at 100mb full duplex while the prod RB750Gr3 has auto negotiation turned on with up to 1000mb full duplex enabled. Prod is gathering data around a set time and flapping occurs around when that gathering time happens, but it should be low enough to not affect it. Test seems to flap the same exact way.
The current version of firmware on the RB750Gr3’s are 7.8 and the version of the RB2011UAS is 6.47.9. Through digging on the forums here, we have tested raising the DPD interval and max failure rate but that has not worked. The RB2011UAS has had no issues for years so I figure it may be an issue with the configuration on the RB750Gr3’s side.
