Is it possible to Connect SXTG to an EnGenius Outddor access point

Existing set up has an EnGenius ENS202EXT Antenna on top of a hill with another access point at the bottom for internet access. We have a Mikrotik SXTG Antennae and MikroTik RouterBOARD hAP ac lite and was wondering whether you would think that it would be able to access the exisiting EnGenius set up for internet access? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they can “hear each other”.

No they can’t

EnGenius ENS202EXT
Wireless 2.4 GHz standards

RBSXTG-5HPnD-SAr2
Wireless 5 GHz standards

It is the SXTG-2hnd-2 which is 2.4Ghz. Sorry, I should have put that in earlier.

Then it should work if all the radio conditions are met. You didn’t write anything about the distance.

It is about 1.25km line of sight. Antenna is on top of a big hill

It should work.

Thanks for your help. We’ll give it a go and see if we can get them working together.
