Is the SXT Lite5 compatible with Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5GHz?

Hey guys, i need a help!

I have a client at the company I work for who has 4 point-to-point antennas on a telecommunications tower, and lightning struck the tower and burned them out. We need to replace them and were thinking of installing two pairs of Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5GHz 25dBi PBE-5AC-GEN2 antennas. What do you think? If I use the 802.11 standard, will I be able to link them with the company's other SXT antennas?

I highly doubt. That antenna uses proprietary Unifi AirMAX protocol described here.

That is correct, this is not going to work. You will need to replace both sides.

Also, when you now have a dish like that, you will have to watch that the SXT has much less gain and may not have enough margin. You should replace both sides, probably with LHG 5 (XL) dishes.
