Is there any OpenVPN TCP connection limit?

Hello,

I have set OpenVPN server on mikrotik router CCR1036-8G-2S+ over TCP protocol on port 443.
All worked fine with several users, however when there are more users connected (about 7), new connection attempt is timed-out or takes long time (up to minute) with more attempts.
Port is mainly not responding (via telnet).
Router is used also for providing some services via servers behind.
Router resources (CPU and RAM) are not at high level.
Are ther some limits/restrictions with OpenVPN connections?

Thanks for any advice.

The mantra around here is post your config.

@ Merlin,

haha  you are so funny

@ ipavlik,

hmm… i have never thought about that. but maybe you can search somewhere on mt openvpn documentation or maybe - if any - related to license level.

but if there’s none of the above said anything about OpenVPN limit - than perhaps you should think about using the config post mantra. especially the logged sessions and cpu ram utilization part. as Merlin said

are those “hanging” or slow (1min+) connections coming from the same IP as some other yet established connections?
COULD also maybe hint to a src-post exhaustion
