issues with a 5GHz antenna

I need a little help

i have a tower with a RB435, one of the interfaces is running an R52Hn card.

It is running with this Antenna

when i scan from it i pick up a couple SSIDs, the lowest i pick up at -50

now when i try to connect a RB711, Particularly this one, i pick up SSIDs and again some at good signals but i just can’t pickup the antenna i have set up, even physically putting the SSID into the interface will not make it connect.

could someone enlighten me as to what i have done wrong

You currently have your wireless profile unspecified. Set it to 802.11 or if you are using other profiles set it accordingly.

as far as i understand if i run in “unspecified” it was suppose to default to 802.11, however i will give that a go

We have run into this problem before and this is what fixed it for us. Did it work for you?

i need the grab a unit at some point and take it home, i can see said tower from my house so i can try test the changes then
