For those Canadian folks with Mikrotiks wanting to use the Rogers Wireless 3G Wireless data service, the ZTE MF668 USB Modem works. tested using RouterOS 4.5 on a Soekris net5501.

I just thought I’d chime in with my findings, since I had spent numerous hours getting this unit to work with my new OmniTik router:
I received a brand new Rogers ZTE MF668 rocket stick yesterday to replace my old Novatel MC950D that I’ve had for a few years and also had working with the OmniTik.
First off, Rogers seems to have changed the APN from internet.com to isp.apn on this new stick - not sure why. I was not able to connect until I changed the APN to the new setting. The other setting that differs from my old stick is that you need to use Data Channel 1 and Info Channel 1 (old stick: 0,0).
Things seem to work, its been up for 12 hours+. I’ll report back in this thread if I have any more useful info. I will also try and update the wiki with the channel info. Not sure if this is Rogers or stick specific though…
