L3 Switch disable Ethernet port

Hello folks!

I’ve enabled HW offload on our brand new CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ including the L3 support to all ports but the uplink/internet ports and the eth1/Management port.

However, as soon as I enable the L3 HW offload the eth1/Management port just stop working. It appear to me as “enabled” but not running not has link:

 0  S name="ether-Management" default-name="ether1" mtu=1500 l2mtu=1584
      mac-address=DC:2C:6E:E0:9D:3A orig-mac-address=DC:2C:6E:E0:9D:3A arp=enabled
      arp-timeout=auto loop-protect=default loop-protect-status=off
      loop-protect-send-interval=5s loop-protect-disable-time=5m auto-negotiation=no
      advertise=10M-half,10M-full,100M-half,100M-full,1000M-half,1000M-full
      full-duplex=yes tx-flow-control=off rx-flow-control=off speed=1Gbps
      bandwidth=unlimited/unlimited

Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong in this case?

Thanks!

kepp in mind ether-Management is a separated interface for management purposes only, no HW acceleration etc

ether-Management is bridged to other interfaces? being bridged or not change the situation?

Thanks for the reply @chechito.

Yes, it was bridged but nothing were connected to it before. Only when we had issues that blocked our access to the router we used it.

In this case, you suggest to remove it from the bridge and it should work?

Thanks

yes is a suggestion to separate ether-Management from bridge to see if that improve the situation

I’ve removed it from the bridge. There is no physical link still (no blinking lights when connecting the cable). That is the same behavior as if it were in the bridge :confused:

Any suggestion?

i see auto-negotiation disabled, maybe try auto, also check the other end settings

Tried as well, no luck :confused:
