Hey guys im getting ready to start a WISP and would like a little help on setting my network up. i plan on having around 300 customers, I will be using all Ubiquiti and mikrotik routers. I have decided against PPPOE as i have got confused about reading on it the past fewweeks. And some UBNT gear i cant login to from the outside world. So as of right now it looks like i will be doing DHCP with sticky ip address to the mac of the UBNT radio on the customers end and the AP will have WPA enabled to keep people from trying to spoof the mac addresses. I will be using the MikroTik 1100 as my main router and at each Towler i will be using a 410G, Im not sure how to set it up the way i have my diagram drawed out. I will not be offereing any email or webhosting services because it just creats more of a head ache and starting out this will be a part time thing till i get enough customers. My main pipe line coming in will be 20M/5M with a /24 public ips. I will be giving each customer a public ip and each AP a public ip so i can access it anywhere when i need to. I will be doing bandwidth maganement at my main router along with the customers radio. I will be doing QOS and firewall rules at each tower along with my main router. I have included what i want my network to look like and was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers and tips on how to improve. Any links with info will be great as i dont mind reading since thats what i have been doing for the past 2 months on UBNT forum and the past 3 weeks on this mikrotik forum.
