Hello Y’all!
The log on my hAP ac gets spammed with (the x are correct IP address and MAC from my Sony Android TV)

When I plug the cable into a different interface/port, its the same on this other port. So the issue doesn’t come from the port. Therefore I tried a cable test, with no result.
Does this also occur when the tv is using the LAN interface (i.e. while playing YouTube)?
Does it give problems (apart from the logging)?
What RouterOS version are you running?
AFAIK cable test really works only on Gbps links … so the cable test result you posted might be bogus.
There are different possibilities about why ethernet link drops (in order of probability according to my personal experience):
detect internet feature active … it is known to break some things while its merits are questionable … disable it in /interface detect-internet by setting all interface lists to none
broken cable … test with another cable (obtained from different source)
incompatibility between link partners … to test put a simple switch between TV and hAP ac (if you have some)
Will try the detect setting. Honestly, changing cable would be a pain in the ass. Hidden behind some cupboard and hard to get to. Maybe I can get a tester from someone.
I’d assume that a test using another cable taking a simpler, temporary, physical route is simpler. If the hidden cable is broken, you’ll have to replace it anyway; if it is not, the other cable will show the same results.
Plus I have seen multiple times that the connector on the cable end had problems with the mating connector on one device but worked flawlessly with another device, and the first device’s port worked flawlessly with another cable. I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t experience it myself.
To take a temp cable is the plan now. Just need to find time to get one. Anyway, thanks everyone and I gotta turn to the hardware instead of searching for a software issue.
