Links showing an (unknown) interface (6.34rc30 x86 server)

I have been spinning up the latest version of The Dude to start testing and I noticed a strange issue.

I realize that this is all still a work in progress, and really I am just posting this as a FYI. I am sure it will get resolved in future versions.

I have been adding all my routerboard devices (running a mix of 6.29.1 or 6.33.3) and when I add a link, I am unable to select the interface for the link (either as a snmp or routeros mastering type).

The interfaces show up when I look at the SNMP or RouterOS tabs in the device details, but they don’t show up when I add (or edit) a link.

If I auto discover a device and have it add links to the network map I sometimes get a link (off to an added network for my local subnet) with a valid interface (both looking at the statistics on the network map and then when I open the link’s detail window).

But if I then open the link’s detail window again the interface flips back to (unknown).

History on the link is empty (as expected since it doesn’t actually know what interface to collect data for)

As well if I look at Charts/Data Sources I see a bunch of @ device rx and @ device tx entries (again assumed since the interface is unknown).

All devices have correct routeros user credentials (as verified by checking the status on the RouterOS tab of the devices section).

Hopefully this information is helpful to the devs.

This is a known issue with last few builds. I have reported it to dev for fixing.

Awesome. Thanks.

Looking forward to future builds.

Confirmed working in 6.34rc34.

Thanks for the fix.
