I was connected nicely to 192.168.88.1 and set all ports to vlan enabled now I can’t connect and it doesn’t appear in winbox and can’t ping it. I suspect I may be able to access it if I called with as vlan tag but I thought the non-tagged packet would default to vlan 1
Tried 2sec, 10sec, reset on power up but could not reset to defaults
Reset on power up does make activity light flash lots but still no respose from 192.168.88.1

What version are you running? You can try alternative method to reset switch - take it out of the case and close reset hole with metal object while powering up the board. In a similar way like http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/File:Passw.jpg

I tried upgrade to 1.2 but it just says “upgrading do not interrupt”
I read on forum maybe need to go via v1.1 but its not on downlaod site
I waited about 3 minutes for the upgrade then did F5 to refresh and its still on 1.0, also rebooted - same thing
