I have a 68 mile 5.8 Ghz link in which I have 2 completely separate radio cards on each side. Each of the point to point links are connected without issue, one is in a vertical polarity, and the other in horizontal polarity. When I try to “Bond” the interfaces on both sides, on of the links drops off completely. Both of the links have a S/N of -50 to -60 dB.
Currently, I have the vertical on one side as “ap bridge” and the horizontal as “station bridge”, I have the other side of the link set up in reverse. When I put both links on each side the same, both on one side as “ap bridge” and both on the other side as “station bridge” they do stay linked, but then I keep dropping packets to where the link isn’t usable. Right now I am able to pass about 65-75 MB though only one of the link at a time.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I may try to get this working properly?
