Lost in setting up router

All,

I’m totally new to mikrotik - more experienced with cisco.
Therefore I started with a small Hex S device (RB760iGS).
After 3 days and reading many online documents I’m lost in setting up router like required.

Plan is to have Hardware connected like this:
Carrier router providing internet access over a bridged port => RB760iGS connected with 1"trunk+tagged VLAN" => cisco access switches

Purpose of the RB760 running on latest stable OS (6.44.1):
Provide appr. 10-15 VLAN each with DHCP-Server
Allow access between VLAN + Access through firewall rules
Generally firewall internet-access
(This was plan to get rid of the Cisco RV130 which is only supporting max of 4 VLAN.)

I could manage mostly all. on the HexS. Major issue for me is, I’m not able to figure out how I can create the DHCP-Servers for different VLAN on the same tagged port.
I tried to add DHCP-Servers to Bridge, ethernet-interface as well on VLAN nothing seems to work finally. Is this a limitation of the router firmware or hardware?

Would appreciate your input or guidence to an example where 10x DHCP-Server/VLAN are used on one tagged/trunk-port.

Check the manual and examples. In short, you define ports and VLANs in “/interface bridge port” and “/interface bridge vlan”, which is enough for switching. And if you need to work them more (e.g. in your case add DHCP servers), you add VLAN interfaces in “/interface vlan” and work with them. Read and understand example #3 and you’ll know what to do.

We are here to help, all doable!
Besides the link that Sob Provided there is excellent guidance on this post with practical examples…

Once you have attempted to apply the knowledge from the links and have a config for us to look at
post it here… ( i use notepadd ++ to read downloads of files from the router).
