low signal redirect/disconect

Hi all.

Is it possible with script to block wireless users with low signals and optionaly show them message why they are blocked until they have better connection?

I want mt to ignore all wireless users with lower signals than -75dbm.
To ignore them is just fine, but if possible it would be nice to redirect them to some page with “sorry your signal is too low” message and then disconnect/ignore.

I dont understand this scripting stuff jet, can someone help?

Thanks

Hi,

In RouterOS 2.9x you will probably need to do it via a script, but I ma not sure how you will initiate the script as soon as a client connects, except via the scheduler. RouterOS 3.x has a feature in the wireless access-list to limit signal stregths in dbm’s
