LtAP mini LTE Unresponsive

have a LtAP mini LTE RB912R-2nD

it has recently become unresponsive.

power on just has a solid power light no other lights.

i have tried to do hard reset but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

With both "main" and "backup" bootloader?

i have tried any number or press reset button and count to 5 or 15

the power light never turns off after initial power connection
it never flashes either

and there is no connection on the ethernet

But you can access the device via Winbox or Webfig?

There is not much else that you can try:

  1. try with another power supply
  2. open the case and inspect the reset button, it can happen that it gets damaged as it is difficult to understand if it clicked and sometimes too much pressure is applied to it when attempting a reset.

I guess i could have been clearer

no connection on ethernet == zero signal at all, PC does not detect the cable is connected.
and yes the cable works and yes the laptop has no firewall, with a static IP address in the 192.168.88.0 range

power supply works fine, as is powering another device correctly.
i have also used the 5V power input, same result

the case is also open, it could be the reset button is knackered, i will try and jumper it manually

No, actually, it is my bad :woozy_face:, I read "ethernet" as "internet" :astonished_face:.

so given the closeness of the compoents, it was impossible to check if the reset button is working
so i used a jumper, it did not appear to do anything.

i have noticed (in better light) that the ETH light briefly turns on when the power is connected.

also every so often at power on, PWR / CAP / ETH all turn on and stay on,
but still no connection

i have also tried with a serial cable but nothing is received.

i think it be dead :frowning:
