I dont know if this the right place to ask this, but I am kind of stuck and require help. I have setup Freeradius 3.0 and Mikrotik as hotspot. it is working fine. The only thing I am missing is that I want to user to be able to login via MAC-Cookie.
My previous setup was normal hotspot and every mikrotik as a stand alone. But because of that I was not able to get analytics based on usage as well as I had to update a small change in all routers. That is why I am moving to RADIUS and it works good. However my users are now accustomed to login if their mac-cookie expires. Other wise they dont have to login until I force logout them from the router. Now RADIUS just kicks them out of the user is not seen for a hour or so, or something when the user is disconnected (gone out of range of wifi - disconnected you can say).
Please help, I want the system (mikrotik or RADIUS) to retain the mac cookie so that when the user comes back, it can login automatically like previously.
