Conclusion…
about same results with 1/2 the cost ?
Our tests (w/o interferences) showed: sectorial mANTBox 19s is better dbi signal, but the worse quality (jumping), while sectorial SXTG 5HPnD-SAr2 dbi signal is worse, but better signal quality (stability).
MikroTik signal sensitivity board is measured without the antenna, it makes me think, that the SXT G antenna is of better quality wireless card (MikroTik supports argument, that the SXT G is a better signal quality as it does a more directional antenna).
Sectoral mANTBox 19s is not a bad antenna, but its effectiveness is dependent on other antennas, it connects (if a bad angle, can significantly reduce the overall efficiency).
I’d take Netmetal+Airmax sector combo over mANT anytime. Airmax are quite good antennas, especially when paired with some shielding. Price, of course is not a question here, almost for Airmax sector’s price alone you can have whole functioning mANT AP. For distant and interference-free environments 3x120deg mANT is ok and looks quite elegant & solid as a tower setup.
I want to combine netmetal with ubiquiti sector 90 degrees. would be a good combination or that antennas recommend for ptmp with netmetal
Tried out a mantbox19s. Compared well against netmetal/ubnt.-titanium combo. In fact overall Rx ccq is better on the mant. TX ccq is about the same. Signal is better on the
Mant. Conclusion is classic Mikrotik more bang for your buck at the cost of cheaper construction. However they are well made for the price point. Other Plus points are no pigtails, and easy installation.

Ok, CCQ is better.
What about speed difference? Noticeable or not?
Started out using mantboxes and now completely stopped using them and started using whatever degree I need Ubiquiti sectors with a Basebox or Netbox attached. They work 100% for low interference environments but once you start scaling up a site, interference issues start. (same as the dude above)
I agree. mANT’s are terrible in noisy RF.
I’d just take an Airmax Titanium and stick a Netbox behind it. We have several Netmetals and most of them are corroded. We even lost one that water got in somehow and the whole board just disappeared. Yet to have a Netbox or Basebox fail.
I have plenty of them running in open air for a few years and they’re ok. You just got bad luck.
I do have bad luck Local is extremely misty, water would rain down from tower as it condensed on the metal bars.
I am using 2 mantbox 19s , Ther are two mobile tower besides my office, So i placed mantbox on both tower, each one. Without any high power, both mantbox and their poe had burnet and melted. That time weather was fine, no lightning ther. Although their 24 volt adaptors is working fine. One sector was in under warranty.
How it happened ?
As my mantbox 19s stopped working, then i placed a ubnt sector 120 degree with basebox at same place. but not satisfied with the client devices signals. is ther any changes required ?
