Masquerading MAC ADDRESS ?

hi all


if we see in

“/ip firewall nat” there is “src-mac-address” command, when i use it, it’s say


“source mac address matching not possible in srcnat chain”

can anyone give me an example how to masquerade with mac address ?

I think of proxy-arp as a method of masqerading a mac address.

i wanna make one ip address for one mac address


Mikrotik look to the ip address and Mac address, if ip address and Mac address doesn’t match, client can not passtrough Mikrotik.

so the client can not change ip address and ethernet cards

i think it’s a good idea. that’s why i’m asking about ip address and mac address masquerade.


any suggest ?
