Max mikrotik uptime limit

Is just a question, nothing important.
I have in my house 3 MK devices, Groove A52, RB2011 and a old 493 running perfectly
They are working together like a mini ISP in my building to many neighbors and everything is perfect

My equipment where turned on for last time almost 2 years ago, I didn’t remember the day, but was maybe jan/feb 2022… and the uptime was running so so good and UP…

But in the all equipment, the uptime was reset and now ALL are in 5 days… buaaaaaaaa
Is there a limit in the internal counter?

I know the router didn’t reset because no power problem and I have also for them a big UPS, and the counter for the traffic are so so big, for example, in the eth0-gateway for the 2011 the RX is: 51495.6 GB… and still going up…

All of them have 6.49.7 version

Thank you team

My best guess: over 999 days. But not sure if that is the reason.
If you have any public facing devices, I would advice you to keep (at least) that device updated with the latest LTS (currently 6.49.13).

the longest i went before updating is every 2-3 months. sucks that we cant use live patching like linux.

I never get too long uptime, because i’ve manually scheduled systems reboot and switch between master/slave units to ensure everything is working like expected.

I understand you, but in mikrotik is not necesary, is like linux. jaja

I know, thank you, but the system has everything close to the “wan”, just VPN access…

Linux is not a problem for stability.
But systems must be often tested to ensure their working like expected ; Each months i switchover/switchback or following case, takeover/getback systems. This prevent bad surprise when a real problem appear.
