Mediaserver and TV in different subnets

Hi,

i habve two subnets:

192.168.88.0/24 with my nas (192.168.88.3) which acts as a mediaserver.
192.168.92.0/24 with my TV (DHCP).

My TV sends broadcast out to find a mediaserver in his network. Obviously it can´t find anything, because the nas is in the other network.
I feel like this problem could be solved with a nat rule, but I could´t figure it out.


Someone here who can help?

I have the same problem, and I don/t know how to solve it with firewall rules.

Unless there is some compelling reason not to, put them on the same subnet.
Broadcasts stay local to the subnet.
