Metal 52 ac wont power on via POE+/++ switch

Hello!

Recently bought Metal 52 ac AP and unmanaged TP-Link TL-SG1210PP switch to power the AP. Checking specifications for both Metal and TP-Link looked like it could be a good match, but for some reason, Metal wont power on via non of the POE+ and POE++ ports, that should provide up to 30W in POE+ and 60W in POE++ ports. Checking Metal 52 ac specification it states that its Max power consumption is 11 W.
What could be the issue here? Metal powers on via supplied injector and power supply.

Specifications indicate it only uses Passive POE within 10-30V range.
That will not work with POE+ nor POE++ (about 48V, I would think).

You need a converter/adapter that takes (and negotiates) 48V 802.3af and outputs 24V passive.
A common example is the Ubiquity one INS-3AF-I-G (Ubiquity has also a number of devices working with passive 24V).
Or Tycon Systems one, which is very clearly named and labeled POE-CONV-4824G :

But there are of course tens of similar devices

Thanks everyone for helpful responses, didn’t pay attention to it being Passive POE.
