Hi everyone!
I’m currently deviding my network in multiple vlans. I used the following resource to set up vlans http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/using-routeros-to-vlan-your-network/126489/1 This all seems to be working smoothly. However I came across one issue: in the router config he creates a dhcp server for the management/base vlan. I found this interesting since then I don’t have to set manual IP’s to all my switches and other networking equipment for management access.
When I attach a switch to my router, it can’t get an ip addres and I can’t seem to figure out why this happens.
