Mikrotik AP vs Ubiquiti AP

Hello,

I have been working with mikrotik for more than 2 years. I am playing with mikrotik radios but i want to see a fair comparison. Which mikrotik AP can be compare with which Ubiquiti AP.

  • Mikrotik SXT 5Hpnd VS Ubiquiti ?


  • Mikrotik ? VS Ubiquiti Nano Bridge?


  • Mikrotik ? VS Ubiquiti Nano loco


  • Mikrotik ? VS Ubiquiti Rocket dish?

Also if you know the diferences between (or complete list)

Hello,
You can’t compare directly products because SXT = loco,nano(st,br),airgrid in short distances. In long distances mikrotik has no (complete) product to offer.
i have mixed Mt/Ub network and my thoughts are:
Ubiquiti definetily works better mikrotik when distances are >5km(due to antennas). But Mikrotik is cheaper and i see very good perfomance with mikrotik SXT’s when distance is 1-5 km (even compared to ubnt).

For short distances? How can you compare SXT for example to Ubiquiti. I want to know if SXT 5Hpnd for example could be compare to air grid to loco or to nano bridge.

About lond distances, how about netmetal?

air grid its 1x1 that makes no comparable, and have a high gain antennas, only for long distances.

i think loco its for very short distances because the open angle it mess the spectrum in a large area specially when using high power levels
