Mikrotik as second router, use Wireguard VPN

Hi,

I am trying to use my Mikrotik to connect a single device in my network over my Wireguard VPN. (device doesn’t natively support VPN)
I am using a Speedport Smart 4 as main router and my Mikrotik is connected to it through LAN. The device I would like to use the VPN on is connected to my Mikrotik hAp lite.

I am using Wireguard as the VPN service. I am having trouble setting up the routes so that my device routes the traffic to my Wireguard server(remote) and through my main router at the same time. Is there a possibility to pass my VPN traffic through my main router?

Thanks!

Hi Slain very doable but your explanation is a tad lacking.
Best to provide a network diagram to illustrate all the players involved and at which end of the tunnel.
As well providing the config of the MT device behind the main router and the device (mt?) at the other end of the tunnel would be critical.
Can you confirm the speedpass you are able to do port forwarding but not able to set static routes?

Also have a read through this article for some ideas…
