The following situation: I have a WLAN network here and need a switch where there is no LAN cable. However, there is an access point nearby.
WLAN auth is via Radius MAC (LDAP) and WPA3/WPA2 Enterprise. Can I register there with a Mikrotik and then use it as a switch? It’s only for printers and scanners.
I ask because I want to know if it is possibl, before I delve deeper into the subject.

No, that’s not possible. Not in a sense that those wired devices will be truly transparently part of the bigger LAN. It would work if you used both AP and the ethernet<->wifi device made by same vendor.

Found another possible solution. I can create a MeshrootID with WPA2/WPA3 and Radius (onlyMAC) here on the APcontroller. Would I be able to connect with a Mikrotik?
