I’m trying to centralise my DHCP services into my Domain Controller. The problem that I’m facing, is that my MT router that sites in between all my different subnets, the problem that I’m having, is that my router is receiving the DHCP requests and forwarding them into the DHCP server, and they are being received by the DHCP server. The problem that is being experienced, is that the DHCP relay is not passing a GIADDR address with the forwarded request.
I have configured the forwarder with all the details but still no go. After running Wireshark on the DHCP server, I can see that the packets make it to the server, but because the GIADDR or Relay Server IP field is not present, it isn’t able to respond.
Has anyone got something working in this scenario?
