Seriously want Mikrotik to up their game with LTE-A adding a Cat20 product and introduce 5G. Or at least a board with M.2 slot and SIM with Gigabit Ethernet with support for 5G modules.
Why is Mikrotik not doing this?
What other products can I look at?
There is already the Chateau LTE18 (4.5g cat18) and soon the Chateau 5G (with 4 and 5g modem).
They’re using Quectel’s modem in LGA form factor.
When ROS 7.0 will be release then all that new LTE devices will be publishted too.
