MikroTik NetFlow BGP AS Path

Hi Guys,
We have been trying to setup our CCR1036 to monitor the BGP AS Paths that traffic is taking to and from our network.

Does anyone know if the MikroTik RouterOS will output the AS Path that traffic has taken to and from an interface?

We have found this post which says it is not currently supported, but we desperately need this feature so we can monitor how traffic is entering and exiting our network:-

We use a product called AS-STATS (https://github.com/manuelkasper/AS-Stats) and it is very good at letting you know how much traffic is coming from what AS Number.
If anyone has setup NetFlow monitoring on their RouterOS could they provide some examples of how they did it, what AS monitoring software they use and if they get the information of where traffic is going to and coming from.

Kind regards,
Marc

I would love to see this as an option, but as I understand it, they still haven’t implemented this feature.

I used NTOP at one point to view telemetry from Netflow.

It had the AS Number for the traffic but not the AS Path.

Also where an ISP was hosting a cache node it would show (obviously) the AS Number for that ISP.

However free and useful and came straight from the Mikrotik Traffic Flow information (and whatever NTOP did)

Incoming AS Path would be harder to work out but you could work on the outbound basis and maybe look at incoming interface to get some information about a likely path.
