Hi i m trying to connect my mikrotik with a nord vpn. i followed some instructions but i m getting
cant verify peer’s certificate from store.
Any idea?

Anyway… Installed the root CA certificate?

i figured out it was the time of the router.
Anyway its not so stable you think ovpn is better to try?
Ovpn on Mikrotik is a non starter for connecting to other hardware. Mikrotik’s version of OpenVPN is the older TCP protocol. Pretty sure Nord is going to use UDP.
You can run the 7 series testing software from my understanding, which has Ovpn UDP support.
So 11 years late and still in beta. No thanks.
OpenVPN and IKEv2 uses certificates so you need a correct time in your router.
Using IKEv2 and it’s working like dream despite Mikrotik have not ironed out the last problems like not sble to ignore offered DNS servers.
Looking forward to see Wireguard being implemented soon.
