Hey guys,
Ive got MT running on my PC to access Internet from wireless connection.
I’m planning to change this conection to a cable DSL.
New ISP would give me a Sagem F@st 800 usb modem.
Now the the noobie question:
Will MT handle this modem? Will it work?
Does anyone have any experience with this model?
Any answer will be great
From what I know .. NO.
You need an ethernet connection… ( for DSL )
I have been asking for PCI adsl for years, but there is not enough demand…

oh poo
so the best solution would be to put some router between MT and the ISP with one-to-one NAT.
hmm time to do some digging in my tech closet

As csickles said, you need an ethernet connection. Ask your ISP if they can give you a ethernet modem instead of a USB modem.
I dont think they would. But need to contact them about this.
From what I know its a ADSL service where You need to put Your logi/password to get connected.
My mistake, ADSL != DSL
Anyways, I think I will dig out some ADSL router and put it between ISP and MT.
Thx for the help guys.

You ought to buy something like ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem. TPLink has introduced some kind of this stuff recently.
