Mikrotik `switch-marvell` package, install or not ?

I am a little confused about this package, if should be installed or not.
I own a Mikrotik CRS418-8P-8G-2S+5axQ2axQ-RM with Marvell Prestera 98DX226S switch chip.
By default the package is not installed.

You don't need to install that package for the current MikroTik products already released.

That post is slightly out of date. The current CRS8XX switches come with it preloaded.
