Hi forum,
I have bw problems in my local network and I would like your advice what could be the cause.
In my local network I have a Mikrotik RB 450 and RB 951G-2HnD connected directly with a straight cable. The RB 450 has a connection to a UBNT WiFi antenna, which is connected to neigbor’s RB 435G. When I am running BW test from the 951 to 435G using TCP and both directions, I have 6.3Mbps receive and 23.6Mbps send. But when I repeate the same test from the RB 450 to RB 435G, I have 17Mbps receive and 21Mbps send, which looks more correct.
I have checked for collusions and errors on the cable between 450 and 951 but I don’t see any thing. Even I replaced the straight with cross cable but I got the same results.
I feel that something I am missing in the configuration of the 450 which cause that. What could be?
I have attached my network diagram including few tests I run.
Thank you.
