Mikrotik WISPs: Where?

You need information only for the Czech Republic or we can write something for other countries.. ?

In the USA, BAMnet Corporation has outdoor networks covering several towns in both New Jersey and Florida using MikroTik hardware
exclusively.

I hope that helps.

In Canada, covering 19,000 sq kilometres in Central Ontario.
85%+ MikroTik powered for both wired and wireless connections.

Post #4, middle of the second paragraph.

I know it isn’t a reference to a specific ‘professional WISP’, but acknowleges a major presence…

My understanding is that MT has a very large customer population in Europe. Have you asked them for potential reference customers?

Serving the rural areas around Demopolis, Alabama, and growing.

I don’t know how many square miles we cover yet. I haven’t done a thorough site survey. Three more AP’s in the works before spring.

A lot of company’s from Romania use Mikrotik’s product’s.

There are thousands in every region, but you will have to wait until they post here, because I can’t name them

In Italy, we have about 100 WISP customers (we are distributors) who have wireless networks covering quite all the regions.

We currently cover just over 2000 sq miles with 28 towers in the Mid-West (Indiana), nearly 100% MikroTik network for most backhauls, and all APs/CPEs, as well as routers (incl BGP)

Quick question..

What antennas are you guys using for Mikrotik AP’s:

  1. Sector?
  2. Patch?
  3. Omni?

Thankyou

All the above. Sector antennae are used for large base stations (>10users), Omni for very small base stations ( <10users) and panel for customer premises equipment.
